The customer draws their garden on a map and gets a ready sprinkler selection
An address, an area marked on the map and several suitable options with coverage and water use. No consultation with a salesperson.
Situation
The company sells irrigation systems. The customer knows they want to water their garden, but does not know how many sprinklers they need, which model or how much water it will use.
Problem
Selection requires several things at once: the size and shape of the area, model coverage, the number of devices, estimated water use and the company offer. Every enquiry meant analysing the plot, selecting products and preparing a recommendation by hand.
What I built
- I designed a tool around the company requirements: map and address search integration, drawing the watering area, area calculation, selection logic, solution variants, model coverage visualisation, estimated water use and a purchase link.
What changed
- The customer analyses their own plot, sees model coverage in their garden, compares options and decides faster. The company gets fewer basic questions and recommendations are standardised.
Result
The customer receives a system proposal suited to their garden, not a product list. The company spends far fewer resources on this stage.
Status
Company implementation, in use.
